THE LONELY PATH

Spring, 1941. Solicitor Samuel Unwin has been sent to investigate the abandoned Mulvana Fair on the clifftops near Bempton. In a dilapidated big top, the site of a recent murder, Samuel discovers a conspiracy of lies and corruption. But that is not all he finds. There is a figure in the darkness that haunts his every step.
As the horror of World War II draws nearer to the Yorkshire coast, dare Samuel travel further into the darkness and unravel the secrets of the Mulvana Fair?

‘The Lonely Path’ premiered in 2019 and was performed on 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 25th, 26 & 27th November at 7.30pm with a matinee on Saturday 23rd November at 2pm. Performances took place in The Concert Room, Scarborough Library, Vernon Road, Scarborough. Ages 12+.
