THE TENANT OF WILDFELL HALL (2012)

Who is the mysterious tenant of Wildfell Hall? And what is her dark secret?
Beach Hut Theatre Company proudly presented a new stage adaptation of Anne Brontë’s classic novel of love and betrayal. Combining physical theatre, storytelling and an original music score, ‘The Tenant of Wildfell Hall’ challenged and delighted in equal measure.
This production was presented on: Wednesday 26th – Saturday 29th September 2012 at 7.30pm in The Concert Room at Scarborough Library.
BEYOND WILDFELL
Eleven local writers created original plays, inspired by the novel 'The Tenant of Wildfell Hall'. Kate Woodward Hay was the Director/Co-ordinator on this part of the project. Resident Writer, Alison Watt worked as dramaturg with the writers who worked to three drafts and to three deadlines. 'Beyond Wildfell' was performed in The Main Library. The plays were:
